Class Expectations

Have you been receiving band email updates?

If not please email Mrs. Snow at [email protected] and you will be added to the list.

How parents can help their child practice

1 - Ask your child to play songs for you

2 - Ask your child to say note names for each song.

3 - Ask your child to show you fingerings for each note.

4 - If percussion, ask them to also play paradiddles or check patterns for you.

5 - Make sure they are playing with the CD/DVD that came with the book. They may also use the computer download.

6 - Remind them to fill in their goal sheets as they practice.
